Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, who is also the President of the Pradesh Congress and leader of the parliamentary party in the Lok Sabha, visited the family of Phulchand Sekh, a Congress worker who was tragically shot dead in Ratanpur Naldip village under the jurisdiction of Khargram police station in Murshidabad district.
On Sunday morning, Adhir Chowdhury arrived at Ratanpur Naldip village to meet with the grieving family members. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to them, offering his support and sympathy during their time of sorrow.
The incident took place on Friday, where Phulchand Sekh was fatally shot, and six others sustained injuries. The local police have already taken three individuals into custody in connection with the incident.
Adhir Chowdhury's visit to the village was not only to express condolences but also to demand justice for the heinous crime committed. He called for the culprits responsible for the murder to be brought to justice and face appropriate punishment.
